What can be done about spam guides?

I'm one of the rare few that likes to browse the main community home page on Steam. Often times, what I see is usually just spam guides being botted to the top, all used to farm Steam Points.

I do my best every time to report them as spam, but you know how the saying goes - cut one head off, two more appear in its place. At this point, even my hopes of Valve themselves moderating it are incredibly low, because the sheer volume of those spam, copy & paste guides is insane.

Are there any solutions out there to at least completely hide this type of garbage on the Community page? A browser extension or something?

its great im one of the few steam users who has a private post history
sorry monkehmaster, you dont have the permissions to view the content that i've created for free

valve cannot exploit and use me as a mindless drone creating content for their platform for free because you cant see any of it

luckily, it is free and i can see it and dont need any permission to do so.

that being said, your forum posts arent content and no one would pay to see it.

also, good thing for quotes, because you deleting your comments doesnt stop them from being visible.

But what can be done? Stop using Steam.
