Lately i seen many User in Discord sending some Link in Server ,lot ppl already know what Scam is this. But what I asked was why so many appeared?
Usually only a few but now there are more and more scams like this. My friend too Becoming one of these scam, and it try to paid something maybe like 40$ to Convert from my country but His balance is running out so it failed Payment. So why This scam is increasing and how to Avoid it?

At one point, the Global Volunteer mods helped adding all the variations of the Steam link to the filter (many of us regulars helped send the links to them) but some time in the past couple years, Vavle removed them from the filter for some dumb reason.

You avoid it by not clicking on links to "free money."

When you go fishing and catch a few fish with one net, but you need more fish, cast more nets.

How to avoid it? Don't go where scammers are?

Why it appearing so often, well if it works well enough they spam it more often otherwise they go back to other scams, such as "vote for my team", "you won a prize", and so on.

Scams remain popular for as long as enough people fall for it. If you're seeing an increase in the scam, then more people are being letting their greed expose their gullibility.

Damn its been there since 2014 Maybe it could go further, sorry the i asked is not how to Avoid these scam but Avoid to become sending these link like you see My Friend become sending this link scam and he said got hack but how maybe he Open some Unsafe link or what. Cus i don't want become him too Sending Scam link to every Server

Your friend needs to secure his accounts. Discord should have a way to do this some where...
