Most of these sales for older titles are lame 50% or less. Also those base prices. Ugh...
I dunno how Activision stays relevant with such prices. This must be some toxic tactic for ripping off people.

Black ops 3 normally costs $59. Your belief that games are obligated to be priced perpetually less as they age is just outdated, sorry.

Keeping old games expensive is also a way to price out people from spending their time in old games of the franchise instead of doing it in the latest one, boosting its numbers.

And? That's the product owner's choice. I don't care why they don't discount their old games. They're not obligated to. It's their choice to make. They can live with the consequences of it. If it pushes people to spend more money on the current titles, and that works, well what's the problem? No one is being forced to buy old versions or new versions from a predator. Plenty of other games in the world if you've got principles that Activision violates.

Of course it's their choice. That's why Black Ops has been sitting on my wishlist for a decade now and is probably not going to stay there through the next one.

That's it, but you could say the same thing about GTA, and both GTA IV and V get pretty cheap on sales. The old trilogy was super cheap too, before the removal.

Activision is known for their Call of Duty games and not much else. To be honest with you, I think the games are quite overrated as many of them don't live up to the hype and some are just broken all together. Overall, not a good sale.

literally every last game was filled with people who where taking games hostage to the point in ranked you could find bronze players who want to win and act like it and be diamond by the end of the week. im talking mathematically provably a cancerous growth levels of afk for 100s of games.

also most of hte bans where swearing "♥♥♥♥ you im sick of this ♥♥♥♥ can you just stop already its ranked mode" and much like steam currently. there was no profanity is illegal.

♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥ and stupid where the 3 reasons you where banned for chat and everytime they where used there was someone 100s of times worst for the game taking the game hostage and they would go 100s of games before being banned.

i literally did the above in heroes of the storm after hots 2.0 where nova buff was a net -18 damage if you could keep all 5 snipe stacks. i literally dropped to bronze on purpose found 4 people who wanted to win and where as sick of the ♥♥♥♥ as i was and was diamond by the end of the week. i think all of us quit playing the game thanks to that. we had a 99% winrate until the tail end of gold and nearly 75-80% in platinum and we where all "stuck" in bronze/silver

and by mathematically provably a problem i means most people dont die 20 times out side of tanks and the other 4 will have 0 deaths being the only legitimate 20 deaths i ever saw the enemy team would have 10-15 deaths on all 5 or healers would have 60k healing vs the more normal 200k-300k normal healers would see dummy obvious levels of diffrences.

Definitely overrated franchise. I only remember finishing 1st CoD on physical long ago. Comparing digital prices of CoD (2003) and DOOM (2016), I'm kinda more content with me choosing to purchase DOOM (2016).
The fact they are publisher of Crash and Spyro remakes (never played those classics), bothers me a bit though.

Thats alot of drama over nothing remotely related to Activation mate, perhaps go to blizzard and rant about it in the Heroes of the Storm forums and talk about it there mate.
