Club Penguin Scam
I was minding my own business when a steam mod asked me to link them my steam profile, and then they said that they had accidentally reported it. And in order for the report to go away I had to give them my steam login details which I did. And when I woke the next day all my CS2 skins had been sold for mere cents to some random steam user! Beware!

You were hacked, not scammed. You have to reset your account

You have to get into contact with Support and verify your account with them. They'll then send you a new password.

If you still have access to your account:

1. Scan for malware https://www.malwarebytes.com/
2. Check that the email and phone number on the Steam account are still yours.
3. Deauthorize all other devices https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
4. Change passwords from a trusted/clean device.
5. Generate new backup codes for your Mobile App https://store.steampowered.com/twofactor/manage
6. Revoke the API key https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey (there should be nothing in the APIKEY)

You gave your Login Data to a Scammer....
A old and well known trick

Because Steam would NEVER ask for your Login Data...

It's a very well known scam, older like steam.

Steam moderators, support, or even valve employers will never contact you by outside networks like discord, in-game, facebook, instagram, etc .

Support only contacts you using the email you steam account uses OR using the app notifications.

If you fall for a scam, do the steps comment #5 said above:

Note: if you use external thirdparty trade sites for sure these are the main culprit too, since these sites have poor security and uses the APIkey which should be always empty. without domains/urls on it
