Notifications issue

It seems when I have steam minimized to system tray and get a notification. The bell icon is green, but when selected it says I have no new notifications. I have to than select view all in order to see the new notifications.

If I am using steam, and its up in current window (not in game). Looking at store or a discussion page. I receive notifications and it does populate as it should without having to go to view all in order to see them.

Is this a bug with Steam being minimized to system tray and receiving notifications? This has been going on for about a month now.

Did you try going into your settings -> downloads -> clearing download cache?
That may sometimes fix problems.

Yea, tried that already. I highly doubt this is on my end. Since Steam always has random issues, and just had issues with notifications not too long ago.

I believe Valve fixed this on the back end. Last few days notifications seem to be working as intended once again. I didnt see anything in the previous patch notes so I can only assume this is the case.

Either way, it seems to be fixed now.
