Best games for mens mental health awareness month
Hello everyone! Since it's mens mental health awareness month, I'm curious: what mens mental health awareness games or characters do you enjoy? I'm open to recommendations, whether they're games explicitly centered around mens mental health awareness themes or simply feature mens mental health characters.

Here are a few of my favorites:
The happy game
Shut in
Dont starve together

There really arent that many I know of. I'd love to hear your recommendations too! Thank you ahead of time, and I hope you all have a good mens mental health awareness month!

If it was Womens Mental Health Awareness Month then it would be easy. Flowers VN series deals a lot with overcoming past psychological trauma and various issues like Alice in Wonderland syndrome, mental health issues from disability, pretending to be someone else who you are etc.
Probably not bad for men either altough lot of them would probably scoff at girly theme and anime background.

Guys, if you cant think of anything relevant... please do not spam off topic games (and especially please keep it MENS mental health awareness)

a lack of games in and of itself is something we all must be aware of, that there are so few things that actually bring awareness to mens mental health. A topic so few people actually consider, let alone observe, while they give attention to so many other things.... Dont cheapen it with confusing crap.

Men matter too,

There aren't many games about mental health in general.

Indeed. And if one has a problem with that, then one should take that up with the game development industry. Because it won't change via a random forum thread made by a random forum user.

If mental health is important, one should not be looking at games for a resolution, but to a trained professional. Games can help in a matter of treatment, but they do not need to be about or involve mental health to do so. Again, that's where the importance of a trained professional should come into play.

Games, and forum use/posting should never be used in place of actual therapy. That's not what they are designed for, nor should they be, unless created by a mental health professional for the express purpose of therapy.

I think it's more games that explore mental health issues or bring awareness to them. Not games that are supposed to treat them.

There aren't.

Even the big ones like Celeste isn't exclusively a female mental health game. Depression doesn't care about gender.

I didn't say anything about Senua. I didn't say there weren't female focused mental health games.

I said there weren't a lot of mental health games in general.

What about the inverse of mental health? What about the people who are not mentally anything that is anything remotely resembling OK, and it shouldn't be left to fester.

Cuz it do fester.

Crazy ew.
