2) the ONLY exceptions to this are the Logitech ones. the only reason for this though is that these are not 'gaming' chairs. These are high end office chairs with "gamer" colors. Especially the Embody and Aeron chairs
3) Otherwise get an office chair. The cost/performance for literally any office chair is better than any 'gaming' chair nonsense. There's a reason office chairs do not look like racing chairs. Its because the racing chairs design ABSOLUTELY SUCK for office use. The marketing people someohw tricked gamers that racing chair design would be good for ergonomics. They're not. Which is why people are constantly returning these things, why they're so uncomfortable, on top of the fact they're so poorly made.
4) You can look on craigslist or such for used versions of high end manufacturers. Because tech companies are going under, there will be a large surplus of office chairs ripe for the picking.
5) Herman Miller chairs like the Aeron or Embody are highly desired so even on the used market they tend to be expensive. But you can look for other brands that are just as good but not as popular like HumanScale or Steelcase. I got a HumanScale Leap chair for $50.
6) don't be put off by used office chairs. Especially in the high end brands. These things are built like tanks. Its why Herman Miller, Steelcase and HumanScale generally have up to 10 year warranties on their chairs. Where as gaming chairs will fall apart in a stiff breeze. My own Aeron chair is basically 10 years old now and its in the top 5 things of "stuff I'm going to save in a house fire". This thing is going to outlive me
