The amount of threads in OT that would be removed by them is much more than just "sometimes moderation fails".
Which, again, makes this whole conspiracy fall flat.
Lets say they are not the paid mod team.
Then who ?
Still what do ot means
Still rock and stone to you brother
That’s equal to “let’s say the mods aren’t dragons — then what are they?” It’s not a valid method.
Abbreviation for the Off Topic section of the fora.
Well, I guess you're making the wrong question here.
If they're not involved in moderation, then what is their involvement with Valve?
the worst part is steam is violating their own rules and to stupid to see how they are being exploited by the very people who are why said rules exist to punish.
You were banned for inputting a report?!
Didn’t make the post? So you were banned for a post? That’s not at all banned for making a report. Your explanation is a bit unclear.
i literally said it as it happened. it was never going to make sense.
1 person fused my post with a 3rd persons in a qoute to start a fight.
he was in a group of people who admitted to the targeted harassment one of which was willing to get banned to get me banned and i made sure to report those posts to steam so i know steam knowns
it was a 7 day ban it was the post i reported and it was because there where so many false flags agiasnt me that the mod literally did not pay attention. i checked 24 hours and there was a your ban was appealed in the box. let me see if i can find where they hid those messages im pretty sure i still have it. i didnt even make the post just the report. ive seen steam mods say that they can both see edits all of them and fused qoutas to pick fights is a ban.
And you can sadly see how rude and childish people are here aswell. More than half of the posts here are just childish and yet the person who received a ban was one of the few people who had good arguments and actually understood this post.
Also interesting enough the same day I posted this thread someone else made an interesting reddit post about the whole moderation situation. It's not about steam but blizzard - but it is the exact same situation.

I found that because vaquely follow a german gaming news website and that was the first post I saw today.

So not only have veteran user the "feeling" that something is off - and not only former moderator speak about it aswell - but also we get more and more evidence about the critcism made.
Amazon uses chatbots for a long time. Other big comapnies aswell. And gaming websites/companies/developer who are very big also do it now for couple of years.
There are only two things we can do: Just live with it and the consquences or step back from that and not use it anymore. There is a reason why I stopped posting on faceboook, twitter, in blizzard forums and now in steam. It's hopeless as long those companies don't get into financial trouble.
Disney, Netflix, MCU etc. all notice the financial trouble now because many people can't stand their movies and series anymore and stopped buying it. Madame web for example got barely any viewer in the cinemas. People criticised things, the companies did it further, now they have to live with the consequences.
Twitch, twitter, facebook etc. all also get sued by people who get into trouble with these websites for false reasons. KuchenTV, one of the biggest german streamer just got his account back after he sued twitch. Sadly this is actually necessary to get attention from such companies. For them we're just few numbers of many.
I guess in 5-10 years things will change to the better again. It always has been like that with things.
Better?
