Asgard's Wrath Release Date

I hope I can assume that steam will get a copy before the release of Asgard's Wrath 2, Steam has SteamVR so you could play it only on SteamVR and would not need Meta launcher.

I lost alot of data and the purchase of Asgard's Wrath from my old account when they changed the launcher to Meta Launcher and I had to repurchase it.

The only way I was able to remove the data off the pc was to reformat it other than that the VR data of Asgard's Wrath was still on my PC and unable to access it without the Old Launcher.

You'd have to ask the publisher. Steam doesn't chase people down and ask for games to be released on their store. its entirely the publishers decision if they want to release it on Steam or not.
