Banned for 3 weeks..

I have seen worst steam profile pictures, hammer and sickle, stalin/mao, terrorist organizations and so on but I had a picture with a dude that was wiping his arse with israel flag (was a cartoon, not real).. got banned for 3 weeks.. For what? For displaying my dislike towards something that is causing you know what..

forum mods dont deal with account name/avatars. steam support does. if you wish to contest the removal of your profile avatar, contact steam support. if they keep removing your avatar, rethink what you are using.

we dont need to see what you used, no one here can do anything about it. you have to contact steam support.

I am just expressing my disgust that a moderator removed my profile picture and banned me for 3 weeks because i am not pro israel.. I can imagine that moderator being happy merchant after removing my picture

Most profile avatar removals are done automatically from reports. Just contest the ticket through support if it really was nothing that was against the rules.

Nothing is removed automatically upon a report. Someone from Support looked at the avatar and agreed with the report and had it removed.

Don't use content to harass, abuse, or otherwise disparage others

You are free to not be pro israel, you have to do so in a respectful manner, and anyone who had a similar image with the American flag would face the same consequences

I can refute your statement, people had and still have profile pictures of stalin/mao/guevarra and nothing happened after people reported them.

if you wish to argue about your avatar being removed, take it up with steam support. it does not matter if anyone here agrees or disagrees with you, they do not have any power over profile avatars and which ones are allowed and which are prohibited.
