looking for a certain type of game!!!! please help.

i played th sh*** out of the 2 fear and hunger games, and i desperately looking for something that is kinda similar.
so something like dungeon crawler, rogue lite/like, rpg, fantasy.....
darkest dungeons comes to mind and yes, i played the shi** out of those as well.
what i HATE and dont like are extremely colorful and lighting effect graphics, so games like slay the spire or crypt of the necrodancer is a no go.
also games that are just too simple in its graphics, like a top down pixel style game.
those can work and do work for me as well in other genres.
but one of the strongest point in darkest dungeon and fear and hunger, is the ambient and serious visuals and sounds, which make it all so much better.
atleast for me.
also very important, i dont want an ACTION game.
so games like binding of isaac, hollow knight or the souls series is not what im looking for.
im looking for a game that goes more towards using my brain and not quick hands :)
faster then light or equal games to that are also not what im looking for, because it lags character development and can be VERY hektic at some points.

checking via google for similar games to fear and hunger, the only game i would say is somewhat similar ist darkest dungeon.

also, it doesnt need a horror or a specific dark setting or story. (even thought that is what i like the most)
im fine with pretty much everything, beeing it medival, present or future.
i just dont want something crazy coloful flashy.

Survival Horror, not overly bright and flashy, no handholding so you do need to use your brains, it can be a little hectic at times, but not all of the time, very atmospheric and immersive.

i do know and/or played vambrace and iratus, both are in my opinion just simple darkest dungeons clones and HIGHLY inferior to that, i rather replay darkest dungeon with all its content then buying a new game that is just a washed down version.

i played the demo to exanima back then, and i would say its a good and unique game, but has a heavy focus on activly controlling your character, which is not what im looking for.

i had legends of the keeper in my suggestions many times, but it looks a bit to comicly and bright to me. i dont mind this "typical 2d indie style" in action rps's or platformers like celeste or shovel knight, but not in a tactical dungeon crawler.

stoneshard however..........
looks very interesting and i never heared about this game!!!!!!!!!!!

very nice reply and a good game indeed.
i have it on gog and put almost 100 hours into it, and i agree, it fits quite well considering how niech fear and hunger is.

i first thought i would put all my gaming library from steam, itch and gog into my post, but that would be just to long and boring, so i rather let people just suggest on everything.
