Is there games on steam similar to Advanced Wars 2?
Is there games on steam similar in design to Advanced Wars 2's mechanics and style when it comes to attacking units vs retaliating units?
I already know of; and own Wargroove 1 and 2.
And I was wondering if more "modern" takes exist, standard tanks, AA guns, etc. ? On steam as turn based strategy?

There's Tiny Metal, Warborn and the Panzer Corps games for a WW2 theme. I haven't played them myself yet, so can't say if they're any good.

I'm happy my inquiry lead to you discovering tiny metal, and I further extend my grattitude to Slowmago. Thank you both.

I'm more of a black hole faction supporter; their CO's are SO overpowered, especially Caulder (Technically part of Intelligent Defense Systems, an Security PMC)

I have Tiny Metal on the Switch. I couldn't get into it because it had a bit of performance issues. I've heard the PC version is better and they improved it with the sequel.
