Summer Game Fest 2024

So I just sat through the whole thing and I have to say, they just keep getting worse with each year. I already dislike the game awards they are responsible for but this is an even bigger snooze fest. I've reached the point where games look hardly different from one another. Am I just getting old or is this industry deprived of innovation? It's always the same old schtick.

What's going on now seems to be a roundup of a bunch of third party-sponsored sales or events, the only Valve thing in it is the announcement of the date for the The Next Fest.

Have you forgotten that this is a gaming forum on Steam where people talk about you know... GAMES?! And I post it here because it is being promoted on Steam. Also, how is this complaining? I'm just stating my opinion. Not sure why you are dragging Valve into this.

So, you should have posted this topic in Steam Community or Off Topic, instead of in the subforum set up for discussions about Steam Client, the Steam apps, the Steam website, and all things Steam. You made it about Valve by posting it here- you do get that Steam is the platform owned by Valve, right? Steam is not the company.

I'm asking why you jump to the conclusion that my "complaints" are directed at Valve simply for providing the forum. Is every complaint on Reddit aimed at Reddit for providing the platform?

It was rubbish, that and as gamers we are spoilt nowadays.
