SteamDB free packages activation should be supported through Steam Browser

Not sure what this means exactly, but SteamDB is unaffiliated with Steam, so I doubt they would ever interact in any direct way;
hence they rely on donations for games to properly track them.
It's a handy complement to Steam though, which is probably how it will remain.
