Xbox has partnered with Nvidia. Three Months of PC Game Pass, Free. And access to Steam.

Fellas, i think this partnership of Nvidia, Mr Spencer and Mr Newell, is unstoppable.

Great time to be a gamer. I look forward, to many more hours playing with my PC friends, on my favorite Steam games, thru the luxury of Xbox gaming consoles on Ge Force Now.

Gabe has openly said they can release GamePass on Steam. Microsoft has refused.

They will not allow GamePass to access your Steam library.

I know some people just salivate at the idea of having absolutely zero ownership of games you buy(in fact, GamePass is literally just renting) and wanting a monopoly but it's isn't a good thing.

You were able to use Steam to play games through GeforceNOW for ages. This isn't new.

BTW , the gamepass offer is ONLY valid for users who did not have Gamepass in the past.
So for first time subscribers.
So that already will weed out a big chunk of possible recipients.

Valve allowed them to access Steam accounts. If Valve wanted to, they could prohibit the access to their service(Steam) just like publishers remove games from being on GeForce Now.

Wouldn't really call it a partnership. Valve just saw no reason to deny access.

Valve doesn't do anything to promote or encourage it, they just allow it.

It isn't made for consoles so it only supports kb&m.

My latency is perfect, and GFN the best thing to happen for me in gaming. Bummer about WoW but thanks.
