Predator: Hunting Grounds, why there is no Steam release?

I mean its really sad because the Epic Games Launcher is really really bad lol.
EGL dont have features like "Search already installed games" - you need a workaround for it (tf?). Also there is no multiple game paths so you need to change every single games direction if you want to install them to another drive.

And the biggest problem is Epic Games dont even care about this missing features!
So for me no way to use Epic Games - sadly.

Same as most other releases on epic store, the devs probably have a one year exclusivity with epic games.

Like World War Z by the time the exclusivity ran out the game was dead and not worth releasing on Steam

Read. OP said the Epic client doesnt have the feature like Steam.

epic does have that feature.. i guess you have no excuse now not to buy it from the epic games store.

library > filter -> installed

if you still don't want to purchase it from the epic games store, then don't.
you don't have to play a game, you want to play a game.

Oh well this sounds bad. I just was bored by this main stream games like R6, Ow, Fortnite, CSGO and so on. So I decided to look for other games which try out some new stuff and saw PHG and it looks funny lol. However, games like Predator should released on steam instantly.
For me it makes no sense to dev a game and then let it die on Epic Games.
Sure, there must be a lot of money which was payed from Epics side but even if, the devs should look what makes more sense where to release a online multiplayer game like PHG.

That playercount hasnt been updated since Nov. 2020, and i honestly VERY much doubt that this game ever had over half a million players playing.

Yes, the launcher have a filter "Show installed games only" but if you reinstall EG then you have to downlaod the whole game files again - or do a work around so EG realize your installed games.

They should fix this lol.
I mean its not that complicated to work around but its annoying and imagine you have 100 of games installed and just reinstall the EG Launcher = Worst case scenario XD

I did a little research and apparently the gamstat numbers for ps4 is just people who played the game and earned atleast one trophy, so its not the current playerbase.

ok good for you, then contact the devs / publishers and tell them you want them throw the money back at epics face so you can throw some of your argentinian pesos at them instead. i bet they will do that trade 10 out of 10 times.

now nobody here can answer your question because nobody here (most likely) works for the publisher behind the game.
