steam security service
I contact the security service. It’s very cool that you come up with new ways to combat intruders, of course not always successfully, as was the case with me. It's time to think about what to do with the victims. Since steam does not consider it necessary to inform users that it is necessary to save the receipt after purchase, it is even better to buy an activation key for the game and keep it for many many years in order to justify to yourself after 10 years that you are you. So this happened to me and I’ve been sitting here for 3 months now, receiving funny and annoying answers from the support service. If they believe that I stole my account so long ago, then why did no one try to restore it, why did the blocking appear so many years after the date they supposed? Maybe the fact that no one needs this account except me is strong evidence that it is mine. I'm sorry that I didn't know that I had to keep the paper receipt from the terminal for 10 years and that I didn't buy the box with the disc 10 years ago. Who did you protect me from? You just deprived me of everything and call it security, and then mock me with support responses. I hope someone from other departments reads this and draws at least some conclusion.

What exactly is the agent saying that this isn't your email, but you have all the account info so what's the issue with them?

It's difficult to understand what you mean from that wall of text, but it sounds like you're talking to scammers not steam support.

It's really funny. I treated my account like any other online account. Once upon a time I played dota 2, but after a long period of inactivity due to study and moving, I switched to cs go. I don’t have many games on my account, only e-sports, so I didn’t link a bank card, didn’t use activation keys, it was much easier for me to top up using qiwi and open the case. But then, after the next game, a red sign appeared in CS2: “The account could not be accessed by its owner.” For 3 months they have been asking me for a check that I threw in the trash 0.000001 second 8 years ago. I don’t think these are scammers, they are either making fun of me, or they are unscrupulous workers. But this is truly insanity.

The employee asks me for information that 98% of users do not have. We are talking about checks that were 8 years ago. In some ways I understand it, but nowhere did it say that I should keep it. I have purchase receipts for last year, but that's not enough. The most annoying thing is that no one hacked me, I just played cs2 and they blocked me in the community and demanded that I prove that my account was mine. There is an assumption that in the match against me there was a valve employee who was upset about the loss and now I have been suffering for the fourth month.
