I dont even know why anybody wants to Play a Ubisoft Game to be real...

Just manually added the game to my Steam library. Just looking for a nice shooter as my old go to game died.

No. In fact they don't. Devs/ publisher put their games on Steam, not the other way around.

What I meant Is that Steam probably has a team to convince companies to use their platform.

Valve are only about 600 employees or so strong witch sounds a lot but for company that makes a lot of money there's not many on the payroll. Thay make I think more profits per employee then any other software developer I think I read.

Because they will grab a huge number of dislikes anyway / no one will play their game, and they don't really want to pay for the publication of the game and it's much more profitable for them to put it up for nothing

Why would you need one?? Because this is what you do when you run a company who sell goods or services.

Over 14k games were released on Steam last year without Valve having to lift a finger to get them here. Almost all devs release their games on Steam without Valve having to do anything. Few that don't release on Steam are either exclusive to another platform, don't want to release on Steam for some reason or another or contain content that Valve is unwilling to allow into the platform.
