Looking for an ATC game
Where you talk on the mic to direct planes and pilots speak to you in a realistic voice.

What are some of the closest games like that?

The player is able to communicate with a 256-word database through the Voice Recognition Unit
Not bad. But ATC job require to know a lot more words including increase climb and cleared to land on 25R.

i seen that one come up a lot. but nobody takes it seriously. i don't know why they spent so much on the graphics, I guess it was to raise the price w/ DLC to rival Paradox as seen with their game prior to this one. $700 USD to own the game plus all DLC. Nobody seems to enjoy this publisher as most reviews are negative.

I don't see that publisher FeelThere being trustworthy. They're taking advantage of people. Even their website isn't a website, it's a storefront and you can see they're using the 2020 MSFS logo above the fold here and have nothing todo with MSFS. For games with copyrighted logo's that would be illegal. Their website reminds me of Star Citizen's storefront.

So I looked elsewhere and found much better.

https://www.ivao.aero/
https://voiceattack.com/
https://wiki.flightgear.org/ATC-pie

The first one mentioned above, I believe is used in MS Flight Simulator. A MMO community of ATC's to control the skies in that game which I think has more people playing than all the games mentioned so far, combined. So the best answer I see is this:

https://vatsim.net/docs/policy/approved-software#approved-air-traffic-controller-clients

Which controls the skies of the following games:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1250410/Microsoft_Flight_Simulator_40th_Anniversary_Edition/
https://store.steampowered.com/app/269950/XPlane_11/
https://steamcommunity.com/groups/Prepar3DFlightSim

The real answer is that being an ATC costs nothing, rightfully so yea since it's more of providing a service. But flying does cost money for one of the above games.
