Yes, BUT i dont think you will like my solution. Here it is:
I completely uninstalled Armoury Crate and switched to GHelper.
i invite you to look up the software from any reputable Youtubers you trust. It was ETAPrime who convinced me to switch.
The software itself comes from Github. and any youtube video, or google search will point you to it.
It Does all of the core and most important things AC does like:
1. Setting wattage TDP (even farther then AC will)
2. Setting up the controller and backpaddles, autoswitching the controller from mouse mode to controller mode when it sees a full screen application (IE gaming)
3. Setting screen Brightness/Saturation
4. Setting FPS Limit
5. Setting Refresh Rate
6. Can be used to keep important drivers up to date, but i turned that off and just manually update drivers straight from ASUS when needed.(+ windows updates)
And yes, this software will let Steam Input set custom bindings as normal where AC would not.
I hope this helps. and Good Luck.
Im sorry? you could sell it on with transparency to the buyer for afew bucks. lots of guys are buying damaged ones either for parts or to fix and flip.
this is a thread for the ROG Ally though.
