You can still craft packs, buy ‘em on the market or trade with other users.
As said, you can buy them on the market or trade with others.
They’re only a dead end if the purpose you had in accepting the offer was to flip the free drops.
There’s more to Steam than trying to eke pocket change out of freebies.
IIRC, alt farming the free cards.
You buy the game, rather than accept the freebie.
Maybe you can remove the license from your account and then purchase the game properly?
https://store.steampowered.com/account/licenses/
That's the only way i see it working, if you got the game during a 100% off discount, and now want to buy the game fully so you are eligible for booster drops and general card drops.
if you cannot remove the license, i'm not sure what other options you have.
It doesn't work like that anymore. It will tell you to restore the removed game.
And most accounts now need 5$ wallet to fully activate which again is bought from steam, which if they aloow commerically means is not an abuse? if people are paying 5$ per account for thousands of bots to farm cards, then they have a right? or valve should not allow any kind of bot account at all?
Its silly one cannot delete old license and cannot buy a new one. How does that help botting?
It isn't easy to tell if an account is being used as an idling bot.
Deleting the license never actually removed the license in the first place. They just changed it so, instead of allowing you to purchase another license which restores the original license, you are only restoring it and it would be financially better for the user and cause less headaches for them and support.
VAC banned accounts cannot trade items of banned game. Valve can simplify things by community banning such accounts totally than penalize those who are fair and using accounts they steam walleted on. I want to fully own some games which when given free I had no idea would be restricted. there is no option for me. Why should there be a freeze on ability to own a game fully like upgrading it to full benefits?
