Spellsword mod not working for Special Edition

So I downloaded Spellsword and I was struggling with it for a while till I got it working. The first problem was that even thoug I have Apocalypse, Spellsword would not work if I tick the patch for that in the installation. So I installed only the base, but when I got in game and got my fist weapon from the manual book, that weapon would not work at all. I tried creating another, but I was unable to do so, though I made sure everything is fine. When I tried to create a new weapon, for all of my attempt I got the message, that the chosen weapon cannot be enchanted to a spell-weapon.

Can someone help me out with this one please? Thaks in advance!
