It's not on PC and likely won't until next year at least. Hence why I'm only mentioning PC games.
I do add that I don't give a damn whether other people consider a game good, bad or a flop.
Don't look at the trash, there is plenty of that every single year. Look at the good titles.
Though I am looking forward to AoM and the otehr Remasters. A good game is a good game regardless of the age.
I am looking forward to play both Horizon and Tsushima, I think they will be in my top 10 for this year - but it's ironic since they are not actually new. FFVII might be new and good (I did not really care for the first remake though) but since I cannot play it this year on PC, I cannot rate it either. My point is merely that of the 25 available games this year that interest me, 3 are old PS games rather than new releases.
There are several indie titles in there as well; I'm just looking at games in the genres I am interested in; and so far I find this year pretty bleak compared to previous years. Niche titles means that they are games that I might like, but also might not. Merely find it weird that there is seemingly a drop of nearly 50% of interesting games in the span of a year.
I'm just going to weigh in on this, and I'm probably going to get flak from both sides... but FF7 Remake should've been an updated version of FF7. I don't care if it's an action RPG, it's the whole... Nomuraing of the story that makes it bad. He thinks he's a genius writer, nothing he has creative control over has good writing. And it *completely* ♥♥♥♥♥ on Sakuguchi's story about loss.
Yes, Final Fantasy 7 as a whole... is a story about trauma and loss and how we cope with it.
