Can I Buy Complete edition when I have Base Game?

I got Battlestar Galactica Deadlock a while ago and now I was hoping to get the complete edition in a sale off a key site, can I buy the complete edition when I've already got the base game?

Yes but you wont get a second copy of the base game when you activate the key.
It will add all the stuff you are missing ( so all the DLC) to your existing copy and thats it.
But you can activate a key for a game you already own as long as the key contains something (DLC, soundtrack and so on) that the version you already own misses.

As long as it's legit key you can activate on your region then yes. If it's something you buy from dodgy unauthorized grey market site, you might get anything out of it or be scammed of your money.

Do note that it'll only give you what you don't own in the bundle/pack. Rest is lost (ie. you don't get second giftable copies of what you already own and key is still rendered unusable upon activation).

Thanks for the quick and detailed replies, I didn't want an extra base game, just the dlc that I didn't have. :)
