Rapporter et problem med oversettelse
And that's nothing more than a guess, except for cases in which the baiting is too obvious.
It was my first post on those forums
No you can't. Like I said, it was my first post on those forums. There are no 'politics' in the content.
I was permanently banned by CD Projecky Red moderator for posting that.
I also cannot now write a review of the Phantom Liberty DLC. It keeps saying 'there was a problem posting your review', even if I just write a blank string.
As in ''
Exactly, their game devs are able to perma-ban people for expressing any negativity of their games.
What's shocking is that this is an AAA studio that leans on effectively regular forum goers, with major chips on their shoulders, as their 'community police'.
They do.
And neutral criticism of their badly written and very expensive DLC resulted in a perma-ban.
Yeah, they can do that.
Does it look good?
Does it sound healthy?
No.
Steam should have rules for moderators too. But they don't.
Community mods, especially for a large AAA game studio, should not be allowed to play god.
can't wait to see what you people have to say about the second quote lol
There was more narrative 'friction' in just stating some angry nobody from CP2077's 'community staff' banned a neutrally-phrased negative review versus the entire limp-as-all-hell DLC content.
Anyway, CD Projeckt Dead IMO.
I think we all know what happened re: the DLC.
Same reason Larian is now abandoning a cash-cow from a BG3 DLC.
*cough*
something

can't express it clearly because
*cough*
Because why? You have a cold? I mean it's late season, but that's possible.
Me: posts a neutral review (available to read in OP)
Also me: Can't express opinion as to why Larian is really ditching WOTC.
Poster: Why - too scared (or something)?
Me: *refers back to OP where a neutral critique of a clearly [redacted] game resulted in a perma-ban* = 'why'
Wait, so that was an actual review? Not a forum post?
especially by the company they are complaining about?
i do not even have to go into whether or not the complaint is valid
or the way it was delivered was reason
we are not owed a public platform to complain
there are plenty of places you can go and say whatever it is you want
not hosted by the company and that have a huge audience to hear your complaints
In one instance, the reports came from long time users in the forum, talking about some since-removed mods. Granted, these people were salty with the devs. (And over time, I could see why.)
In the other, talking about a Discord channel, rather than on the game's Steam forum. The Steam forum itself was almost void of any activity from the devs or their mods, besides from putting up announcements on Steam. So people were able to talk about them being "ban-happy", to the point of memeship. Also there was an absence disagreement.
Might also be worth mentioning that one of the developments of the later instance introduced requiring users in their Discord to link their Steam.
*One time a game left EA, plenty of people were not happy; they felt the game was too underdeveloped to go gold. That is what they voiced, and there was a mod who accused them of spreading lies and banned them. Makes me wonder if some devs look for brand loyalty when appointing mods.
Basically, in the end, Steam is big, and that leaves enough room to find "crazy moderation".
That's what reviews are for, to either criticize or praise a game (or a dlc, in this case).
