Does Steam Stand with SweetBabyInc?

Given the current issues with DEI/ESG/ADL and BlackRock funding racist/biggoted/sexist "Consultants", I want know if my money is going to such horrible people and I have a right to not give them business/money. So Valve, where do you stand?

It's the whole culture wars BS. Basically One group is mad that the other group is making stuff they don't like. It's become a whole grand conspiracy.

I mean i remember when a bad game, ore bad movie was just a bad game/movie.
And as you can well imagine a cadre of tubers have beens toking the flames on both sides to enrich their careers.

Basically, creating a lot of drama over nothing but for a big profit. It's both amazing and terrifying just how creative people get just to swindle a bunch of gullible sods and part them with their money.

Neother hand is clewn in this afffair. Each one feeds the other in a glorious cycle of drama. IT's why the term 'Gamer gate' keeps popping up .

Me. I just go by. If I like the game, great. If I don't like the game. I refund and recalibrate my purchase decision making process. This whiole thing got started over the Suicide Squad game, and I can honestly say that looking at it.. it doesn't look that bad. Actually looks quite fun, for what it is. A live service grindathon. But its not like it was shy about mentioning that.

But it'll probably be dead before it dips intae my price range.

It's a game wghere you get to cap batman in the pointy eared bonz. And there's something so poetic about that.

I'm from neither, I'm east of the Pond / Atlantic ocean. And who I am voting for is 100% my own concern as well as not a discussion matter for this forum. I'm here to discuss video games, not politics.

Actually, the whole thing started soon after a Steam user made a list of games that had involvement with The Baby. But he wasn't the start of GG2. One of Sweet Baby's own employees tried to get the user banned because he made a list, and THEN crap hit the fan. Of course, the journalists right now are trying to gaslight people into thinking that the Steam user started a harassment campaign, but he's actually trying very hard to stop the harassment currently at play.

That being said, I agree with you "going by". My computer physically can't run high-definition games, so I just play older games like the original Halo or pixellated indie games like Dead Cells. They are pretty clean so far. However, I would like to mention that some indie studios can be corrupted by the Baby. Just look at Heart Machine...

That's not true. You're missing the point; this isn't a "we hate gays" or "we hate women" campaign. We're just tired of diversity politics being forced into games. Take Stellar Blade, for example. That game has a lot of hype surrounding it, even though the character is female. And the same is true for old games as well. Super Metroid isn't woke just because Samus is female. That's laughable. What WOULD be woke is if Samus was male in the series and then got gender-swapped when Metroid Dread came out.

I do own Duke Nukem 3D on my old XBOX 360. It's a great game.
