Correct, and as established prior, I don't like Asmongold. He's one of the screamtubers as I call them. Someone who is loud, flails a lot and more or less doesn't bring what I consider quality entertainment to the table. Much like Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye, and others. I mean I don't mind yelling if it's a genuine reaction like they get the crap scared out of them while playing a game blind... but it never feels like that.
it aint correct and that comment the person replied to, you already know what it was about...
click bait...... time waste rehash.... which is probably good....
the initial facts.... and getting muddier...
loud noise watering down the issues with every new click bait...
with people that are playing in the drama game.... just repeat the same thing over
and over again... the more noise less growth click time waste click time waste... no thanks...
new games get made... new games go on sale...
and when you think about it... after steam managed moderation
steam dont need to get involved....
a dollar walks in and gets spent...
30c to steam no change no matter what you chose...
no loss to steam... next dollar.... enjoy your purchase...
steam sales dont go down... spending money is spending money
not fun...

Nope, that isn't how it happened. Like what the developers literally stated. The easter egg was created at a time they didn't even think Alan Wake 2 would ever be made, and Sam Lake just had an idea about the 2 FBI agents searching for Alan Wake, they stated they had a tiny budget for it and they simply used what ever motion capture actress they had on set that day, it was mere coincidence that the actress on set that day was white, she wasn't white in that easter egg because that is how they wanted her to be, she was white because that is who was on set that day.
And yes, these people would still have complained about it regardless, they just try to use their ignorance about the circumstance of the easter egg in Quantum Break as proof for it, but it's failed proof because of those circumstances.
also it would be stupid to remove them, its better if they are there with SBI detected list
that's putting it mildly, it was more then that SBI launched a harassment/bully camping on them
Steam is a video game digital distribution service and storefront developed by Valve Corporation. It was launched as a software client in September 2003 to provide game updates automatically for Valve's games, and expanded to distributing third-party titles in late 2005
Valve used sbi 7 times... steam no longer do any seasonal cultural celebration here...
no easter ramadan and so on...
what makes steam not part part of the list......
steam is very dei... under the banner of neutral.... no fun here...
who is steam dei consultant these days.....
You should stop using Steam entirely. It's the only way that Valve will learn. Don't even respond to this post. Just straight up delete your Steam account.
seems funny.... one rule for some and another rule for some others... and
I literally proved the majority of gamers don't care. This is only a huge deal in the US and for a majority of gamers to care 1,660,000,001 gamers would have to be up in arms about it. Or 4.8 times the US population.
That's not 1.66 million. That's 1.66 billion.
Just for an idea of how many people that is, that's around 20% of the total human population.
Also, youtubers are a poor metric of proof and people can subscribe to multiple youtubers. Meaning they would be counted multiple times if you just looked at sub count.
"No longer do" implies that something has changed, but Valve has never really pushed seasonal cultural celebration sales. Lunar New Year and Halloween I suppose could be argued as exceptions to that, but otherwise they've always been "neutral" as you're using it.
Now days they are all about the 'fest' sales which is theme based sales around specific types of games. They also allow developers/companies in the industry to create their own event promotions which is where the GDC sales, Women's Day Sale, Quebec sales, Game Devs of Color sale, the Koei Tecmo Easter sale etc. come from.
The latter ability is so in line with how the platform is run that it's not even funny. "Why don't you have a sale for x?" "We give developers the option, so it's not on us. They can do it if they want!".
is a no longer do moment.. we will probably lose seasonal
with climate change... and just have what ever month or day it is sale
but anyway...... does valve steam have a new dei consultant..
merry merry...
