Does Steam Stand with SweetBabyInc?
Given the current issues with DEI/ESG/ADL and BlackRock funding racist/biggoted/sexist "Consultants", I want know if my money is going to such horrible people and I have a right to not give them business/money. So Valve, where do you stand?

well you would have known if you bothered with the info,, but im out have a nice day
But it's not related to the info at all. It's personal information about a streamer that a person would generally know only if they watched said streamer regularly or others they network with.

Correct, and as established prior, I don't like Asmongold. He's one of the screamtubers as I call them. Someone who is loud, flails a lot and more or less doesn't bring what I consider quality entertainment to the table. Much like Pewdiepie, Jacksepticeye, and others. I mean I don't mind yelling if it's a genuine reaction like they get the crap scared out of them while playing a game blind... but it never feels like that.

i know a curator group coming close to 400k knowing the truth, video's and video views, video comments and twitch streams, all knowing and caring about the truth and the situations.
400,000 of a platform that sees over 130,000,000 monthly users on average doesn't prove a majority. In fact it shows a trend of extremely vocal minority of less than 0.5%

You're also trying to use the fallacy of demanding someone prove a negative to "prove you wrong" when you're obligated to actually prove your own theory right, not people prove you wrong, as per the rules of burden of proof.
i would say the group member number doesn't even matter cause some youtubers have over million subs and there are many youtubers and not awry1 subs to each of this youtubers who are covering this, so neither side can actually prove that other side is minority in this, but considering how many youtubers are blasting SBI with facts i would say that side is majority, it looks like that but no solid proof

Alan Wake 2 and Banishers are considered as woke games for the single reason that a black female is one of the lead characters in the game.
that's not true, real reason is cause there were early videos that a lot of ppl so about the game of char being white and when SBI got involved devs changed it in to black, if char would have been black from the start there wouldn't be backlash
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5iy5yWpcRoE

Nope, that isn't how it happened. Like what the developers literally stated. The easter egg was created at a time they didn't even think Alan Wake 2 would ever be made, and Sam Lake just had an idea about the 2 FBI agents searching for Alan Wake, they stated they had a tiny budget for it and they simply used what ever motion capture actress they had on set that day, it was mere coincidence that the actress on set that day was white, she wasn't white in that easter egg because that is how they wanted her to be, she was white because that is who was on set that day.

And yes, these people would still have complained about it regardless, they just try to use their ignorance about the circumstance of the easter egg in Quantum Break as proof for it, but it's failed proof because of those circumstances.
This whole debaucle started when a gamer compiled a list of W.O.K.E. games consulted and the story written by SBI and published it on Steam. Instead of letting it go, SBI tried to get the gamers Steam account banned by having people complain about his posting the list. Steam unlike some social media does not ban accounts on complaints without looking into the content of the post. There was nothing wrong with posting a list of games that SBI was associated with. The list was posted so that gamers tired of the in game story taking a backseat to political messages look at the list before buying. Steam temporarily banned SBI and the people who harrassed the person who posted the list. It is not and never has been Steams responsibility to remove any game that does not break the law of the country it is available in. It is up to us gamers to decide if we want to support financially SBI and other consultant companies. Some of whom put political agenda above the story of the game.

good overview of it (it sums it up well) and totally right, its not steam's responsibility

also it would be stupid to remove them, its better if they are there with SBI detected list

that's putting it mildly, it was more then that SBI launched a harassment/bully camping on them

Steam is a video game digital distribution service and storefront developed by Valve Corporation. It was launched as a software client in September 2003 to provide game updates automatically for Valve's games, and expanded to distributing third-party titles in late 2005

You should stop using Steam entirely. It's the only way that Valve will learn. Don't even respond to this post. Just straight up delete your Steam account.

I literally proved the majority of gamers don't care. This is only a huge deal in the US and for a majority of gamers to care 1,660,000,001 gamers would have to be up in arms about it. Or 4.8 times the US population.

That's not 1.66 million. That's 1.66 billion.

Just for an idea of how many people that is, that's around 20% of the total human population.

Also, youtubers are a poor metric of proof and people can subscribe to multiple youtubers. Meaning they would be counted multiple times if you just looked at sub count.

"No longer do" implies that something has changed, but Valve has never really pushed seasonal cultural celebration sales. Lunar New Year and Halloween I suppose could be argued as exceptions to that, but otherwise they've always been "neutral" as you're using it.

Now days they are all about the 'fest' sales which is theme based sales around specific types of games. They also allow developers/companies in the industry to create their own event promotions which is where the GDC sales, Women's Day Sale, Quebec sales, Game Devs of Color sale, the Koei Tecmo Easter sale etc. come from.

The latter ability is so in line with how the platform is run that it's not even funny. "Why don't you have a sale for x?" "We give developers the option, so it's not on us. They can do it if they want!".
