How long does it take a recently purchased game to show up in library share?

It's marked as Family Sharing, we've restarted Steam on both ends (person who bought and person who is in group to share), it is only showing up for the person that bought it.

Is the game already released? If its a preorder then it will only show up on release day in the Family Share library.

Are you sure its not filtered in some way via your library settings

I'm literally seeing over 600 games from his library in my shared, I'm pretty sure it's the only one that isn't showing up. I have that "play" button that only shows installed/local games unchecked, so that isn't it. No other filters applied.

I am aware this is beta. I have a ticket in with support now.

That's the sub ID package of the game. That's why I said weird.

There are a few posts on the games forum about Family Share not working even though its advertised as having it on the store page.

My bad for assuming reading the store page was research.

I own Contra Anniversary and it's showing up in his under shared. That's (obviously) Konami too. So this is weird. Will try to remember to update this when I hear from support. It's either meant to be Family Share and they need to fix it, or it's a false flag Valve needs to remove.

Keep in mind the new iteration of Family Sharing is in beta. There's bound to be a few problems like this. Doesn't the beta have it's own community hub? If it does, it might be best posting about it there, instead of bothering support with it.
