Consistent BSOD on steam update "Kernel security check error"
I've deleted and tried to reinstall steam. I've updated all drivers. I have a surfacebook 3 with windows 11, 23H2 GeForce 1660Ti. I'd like to avoid a clean windows install if possible.

Thanks, does that mean just check that windows is up to date? Or something cooler?

If anyone else is having issues with their controller then I suggest using WiFi (if possible) instead of BT as that fixed it for me on my dual boot.

Rollback the update if possible.

It's not clear, did you have one random bsod? Or do you get one everytime you run Steam?

Does sound related but I don't the option to uninstall that update. I can see it in my list of installed updates, but it's not in the list for ones I can uninstall.

Maybe I should just uninstall the last two which happened today (for the fix) and on the 14th (although steam was working past that date)

Nope, it's super consistent. It's during the update portion of launching steam.
