There is a slight amount of anticipation when buying one, but the chances at getting anything significant is tiny small. Unless you just like the act of discovering what's hidden within them, just use that money towards something else.

Exactly. The way I see it with what I got is exactly like I spent the money on Sniper Elite 4 at 90% off and got 2 steam keys for trading for free.

I've only done business with Indiegala, Fanatical and HumbleBundle so far and i'm pretty sure that the discounts they get come from the developers who sell them a big batch of their games for resell purposes and not from illegal activities.
Fanatical isn't grey market. It's a legitimate third party site that sources its keys direct from the publisher.
Fanatical is actually one of the few companies that was allowed to change their Steam group name when they rebranded their company from BundleStars to Fanatical.
