Post deletion?

They don't hide them.

They remove them, move them, or lock them. There is no 'hide'.

When a thread is moved, it will also remove replies you've made from your post history because those posts are linked to that forum as well as that thread.

when a thread or post is deleted it's not actually deleted, it'a only deleted from your view

mods can see deleted threads

I think there is, although not "officially". If you get a link which has /bounce/ in it, you can manually edit it to still see the thread. Sometimes you don't get that link though, but a redirect to the forum main page. Not sure why that happens. Might be just me looking in the wrong place.

Mod's have repeatedly said they can see deleted threads. You can't curse someone out for instance then delete a post or a thread before a mod can moderate it....

Now we need citation for your original claim.

Kindly show is the console they have access to in order to hide a thread

I've seen it happen. I've replied to threads that get moved and it deleted the replies in my post history but I can still access the thread in its new forum.

When you get a link with that in it, was the thread deleted or moved?

Deleted? I think? They don't tell you. But idk what you mean by "move"? Move where?

Sometimes mods will move threads to other forums/subflrums.

For instance, this thread was originally posted in Off Topic. It got moved to Steam Discussions.

I've never seen that happen. But in that case, the link should just take you to the new location. So I assume they all got deleted.

You don't get a link to where it moved to until a new reply is made in the thread. Until then, it is displayed as "moved or deleted."

It's been a long standing complaint...

Hmm. That's weird. I had no idea threads ever moved. Still, most of them were deleted I think. I've never gotten this new link to a moved thread.

It happens all the time.

Most aren't ever deleted but you can already check your comment history to see anything you posted, even deleted posts.

I get them all the time.
