Is it worth spending money on CSGO?
What is the use of spending money on CSGO other than showing off but making yourself happy?

I think the same as with any F2P game. To support developers and/or get access to stuff you couldn't otherwise (skins in this scenario).

Is it worth for you? Only you can answer that.

No, unless you're that kind of people that want to feel special for having a rare skin. If that brings happiness to you... oh well, go for it.

This is apply to majority of F2P games.

If you want to support the game, dev/publisher, or just wanted the skins, emotes, whatever it is, then either earn it if it optional for free, or pay for it if you really want it, or wanted to support dev/publisher, otherwise you're not obligated to buy these things in the first place, and just enjoy playing the game.

You can also use Steam workshop if you wanted for CSGO/CS2, but if don't want to do it don't worry about it, again just enjoy the game.
now might be a good time to look
at how you value your time and your money
and what you consider investing your time and money in....

is csgo fashion orientated these days...

If you're smart you can make money by buying these special skins.

It's for your personal enjoyment unless you want to treat the game as an investment/business which in recent years, that's what the game has turned into.

The CS2 skin community (formerly CSGO) is a whole world on its own. Trading, buying, selling, collecting and all sorts of thing come into play. You either purchase what you want or you take part of the aforementioned actions.

You don't really make "money" per-say through the supported channels. At best, you could maybe profit through Steam wallet funds by cashing out on the Steam community market, but those are funds locked within the Steam ecosystem.

All other channels, particularly third party websites, are at your own risk (of getting scammed).
