You entered the area where you have no bussiness.
I have issues with Unreal 5 games, also some browser engine based one and ofc DX12 only games.
My biggest loss so far is this game

Strangely it min req is Win8.1 and DX11. Dev said it use some sound thing what not work on Win7. For this game I wanted to try vxkex, but I decided that I rather not experimenting and screw up things with an alpha state program.
There is a very important word there that I mentioned: System REQUIREments. That means that you are REQUIRED to have whatever OS the game specifies as it's minimum REQUIREments or you do not get to play the game. If a game specifies it must have Windows 10 to play (per the developers) then you must have windows 10 to play the game or you do not get to play it. That's how computer games work.
Do you understand English? Do you understand what the word "REQUIRE" means? I could go find the definition for you if you do not understand the word.
i know for this one xd
same for me , it was on my top list but unfortunatelly i wasnt able to make it running under w7 and trust me i tryed xd , was able to bypass the first check of os but not the stupid dll req i get later ... may be i should try it with vx now,
omw to retry
Devs dont care on what OS I play their games. In that system requirement they just make it clear no support under minimum requirement. What I accepted. However those Devs are happy if I buy their games and having fun. I have good contact with alot of indie Devs, helping them with bugreports and suggestions, feedbacks. They know Im on Win7, some even changed their game abit if that might help to run the game on Win7.
You are totaly wrong with this minimum requirement thing and atm spreading false info here.
re·quire·ment
/rəˈkwī(ə)rm(ə)nt/
noun
noun: requirement; plural noun: requirements
a thing that is needed or wanted.
"choose the type of window that suits your requirements best"
a thing that is compulsory; a necessary condition.
"applicants must satisfy the normal entry requirements"
Hopefully you can understand now what it is that I am referring to. This means that if a game lists Windows 10 in it's System Requirements you must be using Windows 10 before you even attempt to play the game.
Some Devs helpful and try find solutions, others totaly ignore us. Well I dont blame them if they say it politely. There is still way more games on Steam what can run on my system, but my entire life would not enough to play trough them all. :D
even under vx , it does not work ..
Ye devs generally aren't going to care whether or not you are on a supported system. "Minimum Requirements" usually isn't the exact minimum requirements to run a game anyway. It usually just means "minimum requirements to run game with X graphics settings at Y resolution and Z frames per second".
A game might list its requirements as using DX12 but unless the game ACTUALLY REQUIRES a feature exclusive to DX12, it should still work on DX11.
You totaly ignored my answer. You dont even tried to understand my words.
Devs dont care what OS Im using. They only care that I buy their game and enjoy, maybe write a positive review.
No matter what mean the word "requirement" in this situation. It is, it was and it will always mean it a recommendation by the Dev. Also often system requirement not even close to what need for run that game.
For example tell me what system I need for run this game? :D

Thanks for testing.
hehe bad try all the free game that poped on the store are working on w7 .... at least the 3 first ...
You are the first commenter on Page 10.
hehe easy with our guest xd
Yes they do. They are the ones that created their game. They wrote the code for it. They know that there is some part of the game somewhere that requires Windows 10 or they would not of written it in to the game's system requirements. We players must therefore understand their wisdom and comply with their system requirements. At least in the term of versions of Microsoft Windows that are newer than what we have. In this situation it is Windows 10 vs Windows 7. If a game requires Windows 10 then you must see that and just don't run it if you have a Windows 7 computer, instead waiting until you update to Windows 10 before even attempting to try to play it.
That does not apply "backwards" though. Windows 10 can run almost all games designed for previous versions of Windows. I'm not aware of any at the moment but if there is a game released that says it Requires Windows 11 then also we must not attempt to play it on a Windows 10 computer either, for example.
Nope! You're twisting around words to suit your mind or comments. In the terms of games system requirements are absolute and must be adhered to. It is a REQUIREMENT, hence the word. Not a RECOMMENDATION.
