I didn't say anything about exclusives, obviously I'm talking about games in general.
Five
Years
Old
Very much wrong. What you linked to is about Epic Online Services, not about Epic Store. That is about the use of customer data for the use of Epic Online Services. I would be shocked if Valve didn't have the same exact stipulation about customer data with the use of Steamworks.
So he is not 100% correct. Not a single time did he prove his point at all, and you didn't prove his point either.
Sooo, people attacked me when I asked for a GOG version back in 2014-2018 because I was an Epic drone despite the fact that EGS didn't even exist? really?
I just askin you, where are those games? you're just show me launch games per years
if Epic has more games than Steam accourding to you, it means theres games that arent on Steam, So where are those?
I've made a lot of threads about getting games on gog and nobody attacked me for that.
I had to wait to get a few games on GOG thanks to Epic.
But I got great discounts on those games.
Nah, it doesn't mean that because a game can be on multiple platforms at the same time and it still counts.
You either don't know what 5yo means or you're pretending that you don't know, so further discussion is pointless. If you really think that I'm saying Epic has more games than Steam NOW, I suggest you take some English classes.
Allright I see, I'll take the L then, since I literally couldn't find any verifiable info and I don't touch epic's launch with a 100 foot pole
Still, 3k games is a long way to go. Many devs/publishers will deliberately avoid putting their games alongside EGS if they already have it on Steam/Steam+GOG to avoid controversy. But then again, Epic store kinda brought it on itself with its terrible management
believe me, many people would hate an EGS player for simply buying anything there. That's just the way it goes. I personally hate the store/launcher, not necessarily its players. Although gotta admit, if players had actually properly boycotted Epic store by refusing to play its exclusive titles at launch, it might have changed the whole dynamics of the way Epic operates, but of course nobody can force people not to play a brand new game, whatever the store it is on. It's kinda like Hogwarts Legacy of sorts, the outrage was so small, it was barely effective
Don't forget that most of these games you can see on steam are very small indie titles, some are purely to get thousands of achievements, others are sex simulators and the stuff. Many games are finishable in less than 2 hours with people actually abusing the refund feature.
You're saying Epic has more games than Steam " Epic has more games than Steam when the Steam store was 5yo"
No, Epic doenst have more games than Steam "ACTUALLY", you're just showing me that Epic got more gamens than steam in a time period. You're missed the context, when steam was 5, theres much less games, the shovelware games wasn't a problem, etc. Other times.
So they attacked me between 2014 through 2018 because people can see into the future that would happen starting in 2019. Ok, so you believe people can see into the future, I understand now.
Well, sorry but you are the one missing the context. Epic is five years old now, and when Steam was five years old, Steam had less games than Epic has today. Everyone here seem to be able to comprehend that but you, since no one else contested such fact.
On 2009 were much, much less games than now, let's alone in 2003, you're even counting the amout of shovelware were getting daily right now, lmao, something that didn even exist when steam was 5yo. That comparison is poinless since the context was much, much different than nowadays, mate
