Why hate epic game players ?
Since currency change(im from Turkey) im buyying my games from epic store.

And when i want to discuss something or ask some questions about the game i come to steam and open a topic about it. Then people starts to check my profile to see if i own the game or not. Then many people starts to harras me completely ignore what i am talking about and they gave me clown rewards.

I realy dont understand this. Why all this hate i didn't even done anything wrong.

Why aren't you discussing this (assuming they have forums now) on Epic if you own the game there? I don't go onto the Playstation forums for a PC game that appears on there for instance.

They only have forums for UE5 and development

Many tend to make everything a sport, like a football match. Politics? sport. War? sport. Companies? sport.

When people can't think for themselves, they think for each-other and form groups like this.

Branche loyalty, also known as launcher loyalty. It's ridiculous, I know.

Just use whatever stores you want to use, it's perfectly fine.

People don't need to check your profile. There is a feature on the forums that shows if you own the game in the game hub when you make a post there.

It's a mouse icon next to your name, if you own it on Steam.

They don't really hate it, they're more fed up with the talk about Epic games.

Thats verry possible. They usualy dont add anything to the discussion and they completely ignore the problem. Its pure toxicity.

:cage: If the …. sadly human …. responses of some users are too difficult to ignore, you may need to use a different medium to ask your questions than the Steam boards.

A lot of the people who diss you for having Epic also probably own a whole lot of FREE games on Epic Game store. Which would make them hypocrites but I guess they support the current thing. Keyboard hipsters. *shrug*

It's not about owning the game on Epic, is about owning it elsewhere that's not Steam.
Some people take an issue with it because saying 'you own it elsewhere' basically amounts to a pinky promise. And they don't value people's opinions unless they have that little icon next to your name on the forum.

Honestly, people are just dumb. They hate things for stupid reasons when in the end we all just want to play games. I personally don’t use epic store because I am lazy and like all my games in one place. With that said you should buy games from wherever you want to and ignore the idiots.

If you don't like the steam forums, then don't use them.

But that is not what you do.
You want others to cater to your problems.

You don't like something, so others have to change.
Well, that is not how the world works and now you are learning that lesson.

If you buy your games on Epic, you are at a disadvange here on Steam, because you lack the proof of purchase.

And Epic doesn't have forums.

But all those problems, are your problems, not ours.

Sorry.

the store with problems like unstable downloads and the launcher is hardware hungry

Imagine thinking that people must prove something to anyone...

And if Epic had a forum, it would be constantly raided by Steam fanboys :WH3_greasus_rofl:
