Looking for some city/vilage builder

I am looking for some builder to just chill without combat system. Game where you can not lose, like your city/vilage is under attack, everyone died etc. Bascially where is no game over and if there are some difficulties you can manage it without starting new game. The best theme would be medieval times but can be also older like ancient times etc. I just don't like modern ages.

I am aware about "Medieval Dynasty" but my PC won't handle it. Some games from 2022 and before would be rather fine.

Any recommendations?

I have read about Banished and you can lose there. Not sure about Patron but from descriptions I assume there is the same thing.

Dorfromantik (I have this) and Islanders are kind of puzzle games, Theotown looks cool and I would be interested if not the reason I mentioned, I don't like modern ages. Other mentioned games are survival builders.

Damn, I don't think there are games like that in medieval/ancient times.

You technically can't lose Cities: Skylines. But it's very easy to go into a financial death spiral.
