wizard 101 is a good option and you don't need to play every month another one if you like pirates Pirate 101 DC Universe online is also a good one if you want shooter then planet side and secret world legends though if you want games like WoW I would not recommend Steam just look up "best mmos" or if you want the old fashion ones look up "best mmos you can't play anymore" and see if anyone made remakes hope that helps

Final fantasy 14 if you want to stick with fantasy RPG.
Base game and first expansion (dunno if the second expansion has been added to the free trial yet) are free to play via a trial account.
The trial has no time limit, but if you buy and sub to the game you cannot revert to a free trial without making a new account.

FF14 Free trial includes 2 expansions on top of the base, free, forever, with restrictions. If you purchase the game, and register your key, then you are on the hook for subscribing.

BDO is a Buy to Play game, however, be cautious, as endgame can turn into a cash shop to advance scenario quickly, but, you can frequently get it for $1, instead of the normal $10

ESO is another buy to play game, and, while i did enjoy my time with it, its rather clunky, even compared to Oblivion, atleast, in my opinion. The DLC motto is, kind of bad, to put it kindly. There are multiple major DLCs, buying Optional content is, confusing, and, again, has a subscription, which you can or cannot buy. Subscribing is the preferred way, especially if youre not looking to spend $300 on various dlcs, if youre the person who wants everything the game can offer.

SWTOR, if you enjoy star wars is fun, I really enjoyed my time with it, and, if you play single player, you won't notice it, but, around the 3rd chapter, the cooperative story element, which is why I played it, completely disappears. You can play it 100% free, but, you gain an advantage if you purchase a single thing from the cash shop, and that is a subscription for 30 days. There are 3 tiers. Free, Preferred, Paid. And that impacts stuff, but if you subscribe once, once that is over you roll to Preferred, which has bonuses a free player does not have.

I am not really familiar with PSO2, but, it is an option, if you want to do your own research.
