What is the Best Third-Person Open-World Game to Play?

I own a Steam Deck and am on the lookout for some high-quality third-person open-world games. I've enjoyed and played through titles like Witcher 3, the Zelda series, Horizon Zero Dawn and Forbidden West, Elden Ring, Skyrim, Hogwarts Legacy, and GTA V. Could you recommend other games, focusing specifically on genuine open-world experiences, excluding the ones I've already mentioned?

Destiny 2 isn't an open world game like OP is looking for and neither are the Mafia games realistically.
Plus Mafia 3 was crap.
Edit: The game mechanics were repetitive and bad. The story deserved better.

RDR2, Mad Max, and Sleeping Dogs are all solid choices and I second their recommendations (just stay away from RDR2 online - it's FULL of cheaters and hackers who have nothing better to do than ruin everyone else's game).

I'd add Days Gone to the list. I've been playing it for about a week, and it's great. Fantastic story, awesome world, and you can fight literal hordes of zombies, uh, "freaks".
