Other than that, the best way to avoid issues on the Internet is to permanently unplug and go find a cabin in the woods to live in. Otherwise, simple Internet Common Sense and Security 101 will prevent most issues.
Probably a simple Google search. Using your current name, I found a page on a certain site that has a model skin that looks very much like your avatar. It lists a name history. 5 names. The oldest starts with an M and ends with a 7. The next two are very similar to each other, starting with an S and being very much like an eating utensil in spelling of the first half of the name. The next is a longer version of your current name and the top is your current name here on Steam.
Do any of those older ones sound like minecraft names you've used?
(I'm specifically not outright posting the names or the URL for your privacy, in case these names are yours)
i must have annoyed the cheater more than i thought .-.
if the image is unique, that's how he found it.
unless you visited sites he told you to, and downloaded stuff he told you to download, you aren't going to get compromised.
still, never add people like that to your friends list, you don't want to be directly connected to them over steam in a game at any point =p
Their accounts get hacked, or they burn in hell.
they will burn in hell in any case
2) Never click suspicious links sent via steam chat even from trusted friends as they may have had their account hijacked
3) Make sure your api key has no text in it.... Delete the API key here: https://steamcommunity.com/dev/apikey
