Busy
Anyone else notice if you start installing a game or updating a game while your already playing a game it gets stuck and when you try to pause it it doesn't work.

If you try uninstalling the game while installing or updating it says Busy

The only way around is to restart your steam client, log in and then try to make sure the game doesn't install or update after that.

Also do not start playing another game while it tries to start again after logging in otherwise your back in the Busy Loop.

Steam also trys to start installing or updating the same game after you log in, maybe there is a way to disable that.

Check your bandwidth throttling settings. Simply pressing the pause download button when alt tabbing to the system homescreen and the Steam client should fix it. Never needed to restart the client or exit the game for updates.

Also make sure that the game you have on the update is actually allowed to update while running other applications. This setting can be adjusted per application, game

There is global settings specifically for that if you're annoyed that games automatically update while you play games which critically use your internet, like shooters or MP games. You can even adjust every single game case by case by right clicking on them and opening up the properties=>updates tab.
