The client was updated last year. It won't be overhauled again for at least a few years.

Steam now is literally NOTHING like it was originally. I should know, I was there for it. It's went through plenty of major changes, no "reboot" needed.

The beta is updated a lot. Also, 20 is a milestone, not 21.
