Is Steam getting more buggy with each new update for anyone else?
For the past few months I have had a couple of consistent bugs with the UI of steam both on desktop/laptop and my steam deck. Its mainly a problem on my steam deck where most of the time when I exit the UI for a game I wanted to play, I'm put back into all games tab instead of the installed games tab, it's not 100% more of a coin flip, but I noticed it also happens on the normal steam app, it's just not that noticeable.

Also since the last SteamOS update I have a problem with the quick settings menu closing only visually if closed via the quick settings button, making me reopen and close it again with the B button which works.

I just wanted to ask if anyone else has these issues as I personally have not seen anyone talk about them.

A little P.S.
The issue with the quick settings menu might have arised in december instead of january, but I can't remember for sure.

And yes, SteamOS definitely has issues every update.

The Market has nothing to do with SteamOS or the PC client.

Well, I haven't claimed it does, have I?

That was a reply to the initial question:

Is Steam getting more buggy with each new update for anyone else?

The topic is a bit misleading when the only thing they talk about is SteamOS.

Sure, but spend any amount of time in there and you will get your answer to the question "Is Steam getting more buggy with each new update for anyone else?", heh

I don't think they use SteamOS on desktop/laptop but yeah, whatever you say, mate.

Read just beyond that point of their post.

Literally everything else is only about SteamOS.

As major updates go, from my perspective, it tends to become more rubbish.

As for bugs, I can't tell -- I don't use the client for anything except installing and running games.

The Steam client seem to be slowly turning into a joke/clown ever since that June (or so) update last year.

Can't say I've felt it getting more buggy with each update.

It's one of the programs I've barely had any issues with.
