Window for a competing platform opens wider every year.
I'd like to see any one company do it right and not try and add some intrusive scam angle.
They just can't get past their weird greed, it infects everything...
Do you seriously think Epic does giveaways out of the goodness of their hearts? or GOG?
And no, his excuse doesn't work, just because "its not steam" doesn't automatically make things better. I could literally say the same negative things about Epic and use the same excuse and nothing here or there would've changed.
Feele free to use GOG with 0.1% of steam library
The indie scene here was really good for a while but now it's all cash grabs with unfinished and uninspiring games and they got more expensive. Valve doesn't care and lets anyone release crappy games, pre-orders galore at any price.
