Issue with Vive controller binding in Steam's offline mode
I'm using UE4.25 and Vive for my project. Currently, I'm facing an issue with the latest version of Steam. It's failing to work in offline mode, particularly when loading control bindings for Vive trackers, which necessitates online access. However, for the successful release of my product, it's essential that it functions seamlessly in offline mode. How can I address this problem?

After upgrading to steam 2.2.3 I had a similar problem with Beat Saber even though I don't use custom binding. For reference, I use the original HTC Vive with Index controllers.

I don't know about the trackers, but for at least the controllers you can edit the SteamVR config (normally C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\config\steamvr.vrsettings) to point the a local file for the bindings. See this reddit post: https://www.reddit.com/r/ValveIndex/comments/cg9m2e/controller_bindings_without_internet/.
If you don't see an entry for you application in the config file, or binding in the location mentioned in that post, you can likely create on by entering online mode, editing the binding and, and then saving the bindings by clicking on "Save Personal Binding".
My issue has been solved, and I appreciate your help
