What happens if my friend buys the game I gift him before the delivery date?
I am buying a game for my friend and scheduling it for his birthday. The issue is, I don't know if he is gonna buy it before it gets delivered, and I want to buy it now because it's on sale. If he buys it before it gets delivered, what happens to my gift?

Is it a very long time before his birthday? You can also check his profile to see if he gets the game, and you can cancel the gifting of the game if it has not been sent yet.

I really think when it comes to gifting games, you need to inform the person. If you are doing it for a celebration, I would just get a gift card.
