I have a personal friend who has an active Steam account, own and plays a number of fairly challenging games (he loves interloper mode in The Long Dark, for instance, but doesn't comment on forums very often.
He just turned 82 y/o.
So yeah, you aren't the oldest person on Steam.

Really cool to hear about older players out there! As much as I wold love to play some of the recent AAA games, I stick to simpler games that don't require a lot of hand/eye coordination.
"My hands are slow they don't work well anymore, so I wonder what to buy on the Steam Store. My eyesight is bad it's harder to see, so I find myself sitting close to the screen. My hearings not great, it's harder to hear, so I turn up the headphones to know when enemies are near." That's all I got for now but it fits me.

I used to love RTS games. Now I go for more turn based games like CIV games. I love strategy games. Currently saving up to try Baldur's Gate, though that will take some time. I am hoping to treat myself next Christmas. It may even be on sale then which is good. Thank you for your post. It was my first one. I was really nervous because I usually keep to myself.
