Steam account possibly being deleted/ possible scam?

Someone on discord told me that they reported my account for illegal purchasing. Wanted to clear it up but got pointed in the direction of GoV-RENA and it doesn't seem legit with what they were asking me to do. can someone help me, i dont want my account deleted if it is legit.

Use your common sense man. Some random person on discord. They're trying to scam you. Do not give your Steam login information to anyone or any website ever. Stop communicating with random scammers on discord.

Scam. No one from Valve will ever tell you anything to do with your account via discord. They will contact you directly through the Steam client via a notification bar and NOT Steam chat, either.
