My microphone doesn't work in Counter-Strike 2.

Since cs2 was released my mic doesn't work, inside the dc it works perfectly, but in cs2 it doesn't. The icon appears in the bottom left corner but the voice does not come out. Anyone who knows how to solve it?

could be a few reasons, 1 might be your audio/ voice is disabled in settings, another could be that the microphone hasn't been selected in the csgo 2 settings. check your options, ideally use a usb microphone and make sure you have permissions granted in windows 10 or windows 11, those will need to be granted first before the microphone will work, then you have to set up your game config , push to talk button, or hands free, there are several settings that all need to be set correctly for this to work.

the only other issue i could think of is your account is on voice ban/ sometimes because of reports or voice abuse the account can be put on perma voice mute, often times a community ban active will also trigger this voice mute.

i wish you luck trying to get this to work, i would suggest first trying to get your mic to work on other platforms or in voice recorder mode via your operating system, there could a small chance your microphone is actually broken on a hardware level.

first verify that your microphone works on other software, can record or pick up your voice , then move onto troubleshooting the game.

76561199540158642 Thank you for responding to my topic, regarding your answer I believe everything is correct. However, in the application permissions, csgo does not appear there, but the microphone has active permissions. I've tried everything lately to solve my problem, but nothing works.
