I joke not, he said so in an interview
Have you paid to have your car serviced recently ? Medium term that could be a prudent investment.

I am not much into machine shops you can have it if you like. I think his father is a machinist
ok that is kinda creepy.
why do you want to know what people do with their money?
You'd think that would burn more calories....
S.x.
If Noone knows, ask him. Why are you bothering us?
Why do you care what someone else does with their money? That's creepy, stalkerish, and none of your ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ business. He could spend it all on honey that he bathes in and has hot models lick it off him, that's none of your concern. He could be saving it in trust for family members' educations or buying islands down in the gulf stream, it's still none of your business.
And to say he's "in hiding" seems to ignore the lectures, presentations, and trade conferences he does every year. He's doing his job, he's not your public entertainment puppet.
You don't invest any money into him. He doesn't have a Patreon. You're not backing a Kickstarter. You don't own shares in Gabe Newell.
You buy products on Steam. You pay money to Valve, a company. If you want to know what Valve's doing, what they do with their money, ask them. You still have no right to that information beyond what you've paid for.
