why a post in steam be removed or deleted

i just see my post have such situation, they ( Steam) removed( should be deleted) my post on GTAV. it suprised me, i didn't write any offense or wrong message there, excerpt, post a link of img( however its from safe source), just as i post the context of EPIC give away GTAV, that may affect steam sales of the game here? i didn't find another reason my post should be removed, so this forum can't speak freely if using another store as an example. it's so impact to me, i can't speak the truth or somethings based on fact...

Check your Activity page > Comment History. Everything including deleted posts are there.

Yes, they did. Sadly there is some paid moderators that don't really 'understand' how moderation works, they delete topics / posts without notifications, or lock threads without closing note.

All in all it's not ideal and we've complained about it before, and I'll make sure to pass this on as well. That said, generally a thread is either removed because:
- It breaks the rules
- It already exists

With an influx of similar posts, it's important to realise threads might be deleted at once - and for you to avoid that is to search/check the forum before posting.

This happened to me when I said they had poor mac support.
This happened to me when I said that steam logs me out excessively.

Just to iterate on this. Phaseangle this is a rule and why your post was deleted and you were warned.
